Four Positions Available in
Regional Economic Research
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) ‘s Institute for Economic Advancement (IEA) is accepting applications for the following positions:
Senior Research Professor of Economics /
State Economic Forecaster. Main duties include maintaining, operating
the state econometric model, publishing quarterly forecasts in the Arkansas
Economic Outlook and presenting the state forecast at the semiannual forecast
conferences. A PhD degree in economics is required, experience with
applied econometrics and urban or regional economics preferred, oral and
written communication skills are necessary to present analytical results
to general business, governmental audiences, and the press. Download

IEA is a university applied research and outreach center with a staff of more than 40 employees and has a successful history of performing unbiased research for the state/federal agencies and businesses. IEA is the primary source of research and information to support economic development in the State of Arkansas. For more information about the institute visit http://www.iea.ualr.edu/.
